Photo manipulation...

I have been looking at this great website that Deanna found the other day. There are some really great photographs on here and the story behind the website is brilliant.

There is a great photograph on there of the two people merged together...SO....I found two pictures, one of me and one of Deanna and merged the two together in a similar fashion. Really just to see if I could do it with some of my already existing images. Although the end result is OK, the blending around the mouth and chin is not too good because of my beard and the colour difference in skin tones. However, the blending from the nose up is pretty much perfect. It would be much better if we took photographs under proper lighting conditions specifically for this kind of photo...I guess it's something we will have to try someday soon.

Here is the photo....tell me what you think.

Tornadoes...

Weather Synopsis...

Severe storms will continue to develop quickly this afternoon. The first series of storms will be along a dry line in western Oklahoma. Any of these storms may become supercells with a threat of large hail and isolated tornadoes. A second wave of storms is expected later this afternoon and evening. Keep a close eye on local weather conditions and check this web page often for the latest weather information.

OK....Ian is a little worried, although my girl is probably very safe and knows exactly what she is doing, Ian is still a little worried. So much so, that I should be in the land of cozy sleep needing to be up at 4am for work. Do you think I will be getting much sleep? NO.....neither do I.

At least not until my girl calls me and tells me she is safe and the tornadoes have finished.

Now, I know what your all thinking..."if Ian were there he would be out with his damn camera trying to grab some shots"...and your probably right, because I am probably that stupid. Can you imagine, Deanna shouting at me to get inside with me out in the street, tornadoes whizzing around, one hand holding onto a street light, legs flailing in the air, camera in the other snapping away shouting..."hey baby, you should come take a look at this"...Nuts?......F'in NUTS!!! But that's just me I guess.

Right, I am going to go watch some Heroes and wait for my girls call.

Baby....PLEASE stay safe.

Still alive...

OK so I know it's been over a week since my last update but to be honest, it's been a really quite week for me and I really just have not had anything to say......although, now I do.

So I have been thinking over the last few days about changing my gym membership from the Bury St Edmunds Leisure Centre Gym - Bodywise Fitness, to a gym called Bodycoach Fitness.

Why..?

Well a few reasons really.

One: My regular gym can get really busy at the times I want to train and this cuts into my time, sometimes by 30mins.
Two: It gets over-run by college students who then spend all of their time pissing about and comparing (and I say this lightly) sex stories or telling each other how tough they are.
Three: Although I am a very social person and enjoy meeting new people, there are times when I really don't want to talk to you, all I want to do is train....so F*** Off!
Four: There are too many people that go to the gym that think they know more than you regards to exercise and this is one of my real bug-bears. If I did not know what I was doing, I would not have the body I have right?? Besides, there is only one person who I will take advice from and that's my original trainer John Fell (without whom I would not have the physique I do) Peace Brother!
Five: It's £5 per month cheaper.
Six: I only really have this year to get my training in before things start to really change in life so I figured this would get me away from all the rubbish and allow me to train really hard for the next year.

Next topic on today's agenda: Crafting, Scrapping and Card Making

We all know how much of a talented artist my girl Deanna is. She is constantly making me wonderful things (I love you baby) so I thought I would give it a go and make something for her. OK, for a guy like me who is into Mountain Biking, Weightlifting and pretty much all outdoor activities (including the rude ones) for me to sit down at a table with cards, glue, little stick on things is somewhat out of the ordinary. However, it's about time that someone made something for her right? Well I at least think so. I am sure my girl will keep you posted as to what she gets within a few weeks, keep checking her blog updates.

And finally, watched a couple of movies last night on Blu-Ray. Bangkok Dangerous and Babylon AD....here is my synopsis of the movies Don't bother!

Oh and I went for a walk around Bury St Edmunds yesterday and bought a new aftershave.....

London Town...

Well, today was museum day. Marc, Anne, Jessica, Katie, Tylar and I all went to the Natural History and Science museums in London.

Had a good day with lots to see and do....I have to admit to the Science Museum being my favourite, althought the architecture of the Natural History was amazing.

Here are a few photographs from our day...

Oh crap I forgot the memory card...

Well guess who is a useless lump?...that's right....ME!

Got to horse riding lessons this morning, camera with big lens in my hand, went to take the first of what I thought was many pictures and there it was...."no memory card inserted"...BOLLOCKS!!!

And I call myself a photographer....Hmph!!

Oh well, the lesson was good, Tylar really enjoyed it, although she was a bit worried because the horse she had this week was a lot more vigorous than the last and it was a little harder to control, but she did good.

So....as I never took any photographs, here are a few from the last lesson.

Journey to the centre of the Earth

So....I have my daughter, Tylar this weekend and we popped to Tesco and bought the movie as titled above...and get this....in 3D...ooer I here you all say.

Well, truth is, the 3D is not that 3D, just kinda green and pink, come on, you know what I mean. Try to cast your memories back to when you used to get 3D pictures and a free pair of glasses on the back of your cereal box...and there it is, see I knew you would remember. You have to get the glasses on your face so perfect that your vision becomes one...if that makes sense. Any slight misalignment and the whole thing goes to pot.

So we watched it in boring old regular 1080 HD instead. Tylar enjoyed it which is the main thing and for only £10, that's a pretty cheap night of good ol' family entertainment.

We are off to Bardwell Manor tomorrow morning, Tylar has her second horse riding lesson which she is very much looking forward too. I am sure I will take a few photographs, if I do, I will post some up.

TTFN....
