I've had a very relaxing weekend this week. My daughter, Tylar came over for the weekend which was nice, had a couple of BBQ's and just generally enjoyed the sunshine. She went home this early today as she had a friends birthday party to go to.
All my kit finally arrived yesterday (saturday) Boots are a perfect fit, food is all here and my thermals came too...all I need to do is pack my back and away we go...not long now, only 6 days and we start to make our way north to St. Bees and the start of our arduous quest. Lets hope the weather will be kind to us.
Went into Bury today and bought myself a knee support, just in case it plays up on the ride, also some water purification tablets so we can refill our bottles from streams and not have to worry about not being to able drink plenty.
Also went to the Bury St Edmunds BMX & Skate park near to where I work and did some great photography, got talking to a couple of guys there and they were more willing to let me take their photographs.
On lates next week so may not be able to update blog as much but I will do my best to....only 4 more training days to go so I had better work extra hard.
Right, now off to watch the Directors Cut of Donnie Darko....
