I was talking to my friend Richie at work who is also very much into photography (check out his stuff here) and we were talking about the photographs I took last weekend of the new Arc shopping centre in Bury St Edmunds, in particular the shot with me leaning against the tree (see my flickr set titled Urban)
He came up with the great idea of using the silhouette of me leaning against the tree as a watermark for my photographs instead of just using my name (©iannorris) he said it would be the "the ultimate signature"
So naturally I gave this a shot.....Now, have any of you actually tried to cut out a tree from an image? Well let me tell you! It's practically impossible! So I decided to fore go the tree and just use me instead.
Anyway, check out the two photographs below, one colour, one black & white using the new watermark.
