Yard work...

So yesterday (saturday) Deanna had to go to work for her last ever day at The Eden Spa.

While she was there I decided that I would help her out and do the very much needed yard work for her. I mean the place was a mess, dead trees, scrawny trees, fallen trees....the place was a jungle and needed the English touch.
And the English touch it received...
You can, believe it or not, actually walk around the garden now without having to duck and dodge your way through in fear of having your eye taken out by low branches.
Here are a couple of pictures...and there are a few more here

In other news...

I've been getting to know D's boy on this trip, although it is difficult sometimes as D has her routine with him and, of course, to him, I'm still a bit of a stranger and he is still getting used to me being around. That said, he is warming to me alot now and wants to do more stuff with me which is really cool. We are hoping to go the Zoo this week at some point as he is excited to show me the new dinosaur exhibition. Although, with only 5 more days until I go back to England, that does not leave us much time (...insert very sad face here...)

Oh, and I am waiting for a special delivery!!
